Places We Walk
Being close to the South Downs National Park and coast we have a variety of walks varying from coastal to countryside, which at times can be undulating. Often these walks have wonderful elevated views of the coast with the Isle of Wight, Portsmouth and Chichester Harbour in the west, through to Littlehampton and further in the east.
Choosing a Walk
We meet on the first Monday ot third Wednesday of every month, starting at 10 a.m. and finishing around 1 p.m.
All walks are led and organised by members on a voluntary basis. Several weeks before we meet, the member choosing the walk, send details of their chosen walk to the group administrator. In turn she emails the details of the walk to the rest of the group. Details of the walk include directions to the meeting point, OS map number and grid reference. The walks are usually within a 30 minute drive from Bognor Regis and on average are 5-6 miles in length. Distances are often governed by terrain such as stiles and hills, but paced for enjoyment whilst taking in views and spotting wildlife. En route we also stop for a short coffee/banana break, usually going for a bite to eat locally close to the finish point.
With apologies to any canine chums, we have a 'No Dogs' policy' on our walks.
